The University has a long tradition of welcoming international students and is pleased to offer a number of scholarships for entry at undergraduate level.
The scholarships will be worth £5000 per annum towards the cost of tuition fees (for up to three years of study) and are offered to nationals of any country paying international fees.
Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration for a scholarship, all of the conditions below must have been satisfied:
an application must have been made for a degree course at the University of Kent;
the applicant must have received an offer of a place on such a degree course;
The University must have received confirmation of the applicant's firm acceptance of the offer.
How to apply
As part of the application you will be required to submit an original essay of between 750 to 1,000 words on the topic: Why have you chosen your selected degree programme; why have you applied to the University of Kent; and how do you see your degree at Kent preparing you for your life after graduation?

The Fund for Gender Equality (FGE) conducts a global, bi-annual grant-making cycle that aims to award grants to programmes that seek to advance women’s economic or political empowerment.
The Fund prioritizes programmes that:

Illustrate the capacity to achieve tangible impact and results in the lives of women and girls,
Emphasize innovation,
Prioritize participatory approaches.

Anzisha Prize

Award: $75,000 youth entrepreneurship prize.
Anzisha prize is looking for young leaders between the ages of 15 and 22 who are using entrepreneurship to solve problems in their communities and inspire change.
Anzisha encourages parents, community leaders and peers to identify hidden talent and nominate them for the award.
Eligibility:
You must be between the ages of 15 and 22 years old.
Your business or project must be up and running. The Anzisha Prize is not for great ideas or business plans – you must have already started, and be able to prove it!
Your business, invention or social project can be in any field or industry (science and technology, civil society, arts and culture, sports, etc.). Any kind of venture is welcome to apply.
Groups or teams can apply (for example, maybe you have 2 or 3 co-founders who started your business or project together), however you must choose one person to apply for the prize, on behalf of the group. This individual must be one of the founding members.

Humphrey Fellowship Program
The Humphrey Fellowship Program is for experienced professionals interested in strengthening their leadership skills through a mutual exchange of knowledge and understanding about issues of common concern in the U.S. and Fellows’ home countries. As a non-degree program, the Fellowship offers valuable opportunities for professional development through selected university courses, attending conferences, networking, and practical work experiences. Unlike a typical graduate school experience, the Program encourages Fellows to travel away from their host campus to learn more about American culture and to network with their American peers.
Embassies and Commissions must submit their nominations to the Institute of International Education office in Washington, DC by October 1. The deadlines for applicants vary by country.
