SHARE Project: intra-ACP academic mobility scheme

SHARE is a partnership of 12 African Universities in Eastern, Central, Southern and Western Africa lead by Makerere University in Uganda.

The Project has been financed under the Intra ACP Academic Mobility Scheme. The project supports staff and students exchange in various disciplines of agriculture within and outside the 12 member countries of the partnership (Benin, Burundi, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia).

Project objectives
The overall objective of the SHARE project is to share capacity and infrastructure among African universities for quality graduate training.
• Specifically, the project focuses on strengthening the capacities of consortium members through sharing capacities.
• Creating opportunities for African young scientists to acquire Masters and PhD training in agricultural related disciplines.
• Providing a platform for the partner universities to learn together for the purpose of improving their graduate training and scholarship.
